Under 9s

The U9s is the youngest of age groups made up of boys and girls from the age of 6.

The U9's is the very beginning of your childs cricket journey at Slaithwaite C&BC.

​

This age group is all about having fun, learning new skills and meeting new friends with a little bit of competition involved. 

​

The Under 9s use a softer ball to start with just like all of our juniors did.

​

The U9s play tournaments on Saturday mornings throughout Huddersfield and surrounding areas.

​

Training for the U9's is every Friday evening from 6pm throughout summer, training is extremely fun with cricket skills and fun drills keeping your children entertained while they learn.

​

All training sessions are taken by volunteer coaches who are DBS checked.
