Bowling

Bowling is a fantastic opportunity to learn a new sport no matter your age but also meet new people and become apart of a club that values every single person.

Over the years our bowling teams have played at the highest level in and around the Huddersfield and West Yorkshire area. 

​

We have had players who have represented Yorkshire which as a club we're extremely proud of.

​

Slaithwaite Bowling is currently represented in the Mirfield League, Colne Valley League, Works Floodlit League, Huddersfield League with 2 teams, Vets League and the Huddersfield Womens League.

​

In total we have 8 teams representing us all year round.

​

Over the last year we have spent a lot of time and money repairing and maintaining the green which has received lots of recognition from away teams but also the Huddersfield Bowling League who have asked us to host the Champ of Champs competition for 2022.

​

Our bowlers have played together for years and have formed friendships that will last a lifetime, if you are interested in joining a team or are thinking about starting bowls up then we're certainly the club for you.
